Join us on January 29th for a profound and meaningful day tour to the Gaza Envelope — a journey of historical reflection, resilience, and remembrance in southern Israel.
This guided experience takes you to the heart of communities that have faced immense challenges, bearing witness to the heroism, tragedy, and unbreakable spirit of October 7, 2023, while connecting to deeper layers of Israeli history.
Our comfortable coach departs from el Aviv Savidor Station at 09:00, heading south toward the Gaza border region.
Our first stop is Kibbutz Yad Mordechai, a historic community founded in 1943 and named after Mordechai Anielewicz, the legendary leader of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising. Here, we explore the kibbutz's story of defiance — from the heroic 1948 battle against Egyptian forces to its steadfast resilience on October 7.
You'll gain powerful insights into the continuity of struggle and survival that defines this iconic place.
Afterward, enjoy a delicious kosher lunch included at the kibbutz — a moment to relax and reflect amid the peaceful surroundings.
We continue to Sderot, the resilient city that has faced rocket threats for years and was a focal point of the October 7 attacks.
Visit the poignant site of the *demolished police station, where brave officers and civilians fought valiantly against overwhelming odds — a powerful symbol of sacrifice and courage.
Next, head to the Koby Lookout (Givat Kobi), offering a breathtaking panoramic view across the Gaza border. From this vantage point — you'll see the proximity of Gaza and understand the daily realities that were faced by the residents of the Gaza Envelope.
We then proceed to the Burnt Vehicle Depository near Moshav Tkuma — a haunting open-air memorial displaying the charred and damaged cars from October 7, including many from the Nova festival routes. This silent wall of vehicles stands as a stark, unforgettable testament to the horror and loss.
The culmination of our day is the Nova music festival site itself — the location of the tragic massacre where joy turned to unimaginable tragedy. We should be able to spend at least an hour here in quiet contemplation, walking among the memorials, photographs, and tributes to the hundreds of young lives stolen in an instant. This is a deeply moving space dedicated to remembrance, hope, and the enduring call for peace.
We begin our return journey around 16:00, arriving back at Savidor Station in Tel Aviv by approximately 18:00.
This is far from being a tour, in the usual sense of the word. It is an opportunity to bear witness, to connect emotionally and to honor the victims, to appreciate the extraordinary resilience of the Israeli people, and to carry these stories forward.
Spaces are limited for this intimate, respectful experience.
Secure your place today and join us on January 29th for a day that will stay with you forever.
